Bay Colony Dog Show

Bark Avenue
May 17, 2008 at 2 p.m., Rockport's Main Street will be transformed into "Bark Avenue" as humans and dogs parade in costume through Dock Square, Main Street and Bearskin Neck during Rockport's Motif #1 Days. The comical Dog Parade, hosted by Good Dog! Gallery, will benefit Cape Ann Animal Aid. $10 per dog donation. A nautical theme for costumes is encouraged. Prizes for most original costume, funniest costume, and most human/animal lookalike. Rain date, May 18, 2 p.m. Preregister at Good Dog! Gallery, 36 Bearskin Neck or call 978-546-1364. At the event, registration begins at 1 p.m.
Needham Fun Dog Show
Sunday, May 18 1:00p to 3:30p at Claxton Field, Needham, MA. Best Tail Wag, Highest Jumper and Most Adorable are are all categories of “competition” for this new fun-loving event designed for the whole family. Does your dog have a special trick? Is he the friendliest mutt you've ever seen? Does she look a lot like you? There are many categories of competition for this new fun-loving event. Bring your dog and the whole family to the Needham Fun Dog Show on May 18, 2008, 1-3:30 at Claxton Field (across from the dump). Featuring Guest Announcer, Christine Caswell McCarron from New England Cable News, WROR, and Magic 106.7. Paws in the Park Annual Dog Walk/Fundraiser
Sunday, June 8 10:00a to 3:00p at Pierce Park, Lincoln, MA.. This year’s walk will again be a major fundraising event to benefit Save A Dog, a non profit dog rescue and helps to raise enough funds to help defer the medical, spaying/neutering and other costs.
Highlights of the day include a dog agility try out ring, micro-chip clinic, teddy bear clinic, demonstrations, parade of adoptable dogs, doggie games, face painting for the kids, a silent auction, food, pet photo sessions, pet massage, exhibitors, and more.
Ladies' Dog Club Dog Show
Saturday, May 31 8:00a to 6:00p at Crackerbarrel Fairgrounds, Wrentham, MA. Ladies’ Dog Club will be holding its 114th Dog Show. Over 2000 dogs are expected. Woof!
